About us

Narmada Education & Scientific Research Society, a Trust known as NEST is established in the year 1985 by Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilzers and Chemicals Ltd., Bharuch. 

The Trust is registered as below.

Societies Registration Act 1860 bearing registration No. Guj. /143

Public Trust Act 1950 bearing registration No.  F / 133.

Trust established the first English medium College in south Gujarat region specially in Bharuch district with science and commerce streams at its campus located at Zadeshwar Road, Bharuch in 1985.

Currently, NEST runs two institutions within an integrated, scenic Narmada Education Campus spread in 15 Acre of land near holy river Narmada, towards road to Shuklatirth, Nr. Zadeshwar Chowkadi, Bharuch with modern learning environment.

NEST – a GNFC initiative, provides higher education in the areas of 

• Science & Commerce [B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Com., M.Com., BCA]

• Management [BBA & MBA - (Full Time & Part Time]

The Bharuch town has a blend of ancient heritage and bustling with industrial growth in Bharuch and its surrounding area of Ankleshwar, Jhagadia and Dahej, all in the radius of about 30 kilometers.

The various industries are fertilizers, petrochemicals, metals, glass, chemicals, dyes, pharmaceuticals, and oil & natural gas. This provides NEST with a vast base of opportunities for collaborative research, corporate training program and consultancy work.

Locationally, Bharuch is between Surat & Vadodara only 76 KM from Vadodara and about 72 KM from Surat on N H No. 8 and trunk rail route.
