• NEST, a Trust promoted by Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited, was founded in the year 1985, to run various Academic Courses with approval of AICTE and affiliation to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) or Gujarat Technological University (GTU).
• Currently, NEST runs four Institutions within an integrated, scenic Narmada Education Campus with modern learning environment, which is only 5 KM from Bharuch railway Station.

Science & Commerce [B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Com., M.Com.]

 Computer Applications [BCA & MCA]

 Management [BBA & MBA]

• The Bharuch town has a blend of ancient heritage and amenities for a modern culture bustling with industrial growth in Bharuch and its surrounding town of Ankleshwar, Jhagadia and Dahej, all in the radius of about 50 kilometers.
• The various industries around Bharuch include fertilizers, petrochemicals, metals, glass, chemicals, dyes, pharmaceuticals, and oil & natural gas. This provides NEST with a vast base of opportunities for collaborative research, corporate training and consulting.
• Locationally, Bharuch is between Surat & Vadodara - only 76 KM from Vadodara and about 72 KM from Surat - on N H No. 8 and trunk rail route.

The Need:  To augment its intellectual base, NEST invites application from qualified, experienced & committed professionals for its B Com, BCA & MBA programmes. NEST has already created a solid foundation for its Institutions over past many years both in terms of academic rigor and industry-interface.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Eligible candidates presently working at any of the Institutions under NEST are required to submit application through Head of the respective Institution or NEST as the case may be.

2.    Minimum eligibility criteria stipulated by AICTE/UGC/VNSGU/GTU  as the case may be is indicated in the Application form which can be down loaded from the web site. The pay scale shall be as per prevailing norms at AICTE/UGC/VNSGU/GTU .

3.    NEST reserves the right not to fill up full or part any of the vacancies advertised.

4.    Relaxation of any of the qualifications may be made in exceptional cases as may be permissible under the regulations & the recommendation of the Selection Committee.

5.    Only those strictly meeting with the norms need apply.

6.    Separate application is required for each post.

7.    Candidates working in any of the educational Institutions affiliated with any of the University located in Gujarat State are required to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of interview.

• Walk-In interview on 05-07-2017 for B Com & BCA:

Ø   The eligible candidates for the B Com and BCA course will personally report on 05-07-2017, 9.0 am at Narmada College of Science & Commerce, Shuklatirth Road, Zadeshwar Chowkadi, Bharuch Pin: 392 011.

Ø   Kindly download application form from website, fill it and bring while reporting for walk-in interview. DO NOT POST OR COURIER.

Ø   Kindly bring all documents (original mark-sheets, leaving certificate & degree certificate) along with two sets of its attested copies, passport size photo on the day of interview.

Ø   Bring experience certificates, if any to count & consider marks in the interview as per University norms.

Ø   Bring copy of last salary slip.

Ø   Female candidate has to bring certified copy of marriage certificate if there is change in surname.

Ø   Candidate shall attend the interview on their own cost.

Ø   On verification of the documents and confirming eligibility, candidate will be interviewed by the selection committee. Without original documents or not possessing required qualification and other eligibility criteria, candidates will not be considered for appearing in the interview.

• How to apply for MBA:

Interested candidates for MBA course may submit their application with attested copies of all relevant testimonials, superscribing on the envelope their ‘name’, ‘post’ and the ‘College’ applied to be sent at the office of NEST.

After receiving applications within due date, a preliminary evaluation is made and as per eligibility norms, candidates is short-listed and called for interview before a Selection Committee by an e-mail to eligible candidates. Calling for interview does not guarantee selection. No correspondence is to be entertained by the Institute in this regard. The decision of the Selection Committee is final. It is to be noted here that SC / ST &Baxi Punch candidates shall be given the admission as per Government norms & DTE rules subject to they have provided the certificates from Government authority. The final admission list is to be approved by DTE and selected candidates are informed by the Institute through a letter at the postal address mentioned in application form.
